“We have a Voice” – That was the caption on the car sticker of the CCM which was distributed to all who attended the Malaysia Day Thanksgiving Prayer Service under theme: “Declaring the Jubilee of the Lord.”

The event was held on September 16th 2012 at the Stadium Malawati in Shah Alam.

The thousands who gathered for the event were touched and moved as they connected their hearts in prayers for the nation. The CCM Youth who were entrusted with the task of organizing the event, used the occasion to envision the future they aspire for the country. We have a voice, starting in prayer and moving to prayerful action to work for just, progressive and corrupt-free government. So the car sticker points out: “ Corruption has a Name; poverty has a Face; we have a Voice!

It is hoped the event has revitalized the Christian community to commit themselves to the task of being the “salt” and “leaven” in society, drawing inspiration from the example of Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
