        RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR CCM FACILITIES

        PAYMENT TERMS

        Reservation Deposit and Payment: 50% of the total amount and balance to be paid before the event starts.
        Security Deposit: RM 300 for bookings of Multipurpose Hall
        Cheques to be made payable to: “Council of Churches of Malaysia Ecumenical Center” Public Bank A/C No: 3185786611
        All bank-in slips to be faxed or emailed.

        BOOKING POLICY

        • Applications for bookings of the facilities are only entertained if this reservation form is received with all relevant details. Submission of the reservation form is NOT a confirmation of booking.
        • Bookings will be confirmed in writing and a 50% deposit is required within one week to secure booking.
        • Deposits are fully refundable if the booking is cancelled at least thirty days before the event. Deposits are forfeited after this grace period.
        • Full payment is required before the event.
        • The facilities are open for bookings on an ad-hoc basis. Long term bookings are not encouraged.
        • All functions must end by 11.00 p.m. Any additional time requires prior approval and additional charges apply.
        • Usage of Multipurpose Hall and Exhibition Hall for functions after 7.00 p.m. are at a surcharge RM 100 for cleaning, parking and traffic control
        • A refundable security deposit of RM 300 will be collected in respect of non-church functions for the usage of Multipurpose Hall and Exhibition Hall.
        • Booking time must include the set-up and close-up of the event.
        • Additional time required for decorations and rehearsals are charged at a rate of RM 50/hr.
        • Display of banners within our compound need prior approval and will only be granted if written request with the relevant details is made. Upon approval, display will be granted for five days prior to the function. The dimension of the banner should not be more than five feet in length and three feet in breadth (5”x3”). Any display outside of the compound needs permit from MBPJ.
        • Any cancellation MUST be received within seven day notice prior to the commencement of the booking. Notification of the cancellation must be in writing to the CCM Ecumenical Center, failing which the full amount for the booking will be charged.
        • The venue should be vacated by all clients within 30 minutes after the booked function time.

        GENERAL INFORMATION

        • Our parking facility is limited. Preference will be given to those who have booked for their function earlier. A flat rate is offered to those utilizing our halls.
        • The client is responsible for the compliance with the rules and guidelines of the use of the facilities by every person in attendance.
        • Smoking is not permitted in any part of the CCM Ecumenical Center.
        • Tapping or affixing banners or posters to walls or doors is prohibited.
        • Nails, screws or any other fastenings must not be driven or attached in any way to walls, floors, furniture or fittings.
        • Clients must discuss with the CCM EC office staff any intention to connect to or alter any electrical, lighting or sound facilities. Additional requirements such as electrical connections, lightings, sound system, stage fittings, broadcasting or recording equipment must be approved prior to the event.
        • If the function involves catering, kindly refer to our guidelines on catering.
        • If AV technician is needed for function at Multipurpose Hall, additional charges apply.
