Dear Rev. Bao Ping,

It is with deep sorrow that we received the news of the demise of Bishop K.H. Ting. On behalf of the member churches and councils of Christian Conference of Asia let me express our heartfelt condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss and bereavement.

We join you in thanking God for the life and ministry of Bishop Ting especially in accompanying the churches in China during challenging times. Bishop Ting is not only close to the heart of Chinese churches but also has inspired wider Christian communities in Asia and around the world through his charismatic leadership and passion to proclaim the love of God in any situation.

May his soul rest in peace, and may the love of God continue to guide the leaders of the churches in China.
