Greetings and peace to you!

I am happy to inform you that the CCM Ecumenical Center is in full operation and many local, regional and international ecumenical meetings and conferences have been held in order to promote the work of our Council.

In September we are planning to organize an interfaith dialogue conference in collaboration with the World Council of Churches.

I am sure you are supportative of the fact that effective strategies need to be developed to build lasting networks for dialogue and peace building.

We are inviting some key people to help us with this task. We also want to learn from models of best practices from other countries.

The budget for holding such a conference will amount to Ringgit Malaysia 40,000.00

I am appealing to you to kindly consider making a donation towards this important aspect of the work of CCM.

As you are aware, interfaith relations is at the top of our national agenda, and the churches need to be in engagement with all others who seek peace and harmony in society as crucial for the well being of our nation.

I am attaching a flyer of the Conference for your attention as well as the tentative programme.

Donations can be sent by cheque designated: “Council of Churches of Malaysia” and Interfaith Conference written at the back of the cheque.
