Works at the site, most of which are in an advanced stage of completion, include:

• The Roof (LHS) – The roof trusses are erected and the metal roofing sheets are expected to be fixed by end of March
• The Roof (RHS and CENTRE) – Pitched roof will be erected in early April
• The Roof (Back portion) – RC flat roof has been completed, need only to apply water-proof compound.

Completed:

• all reinforced concrete works
• external and internal walls including plastering works
• door and window frames
• wiring works (excluding light fittings)
• plumbing works (excluding fittings)
• cement rendering to the floors

Preparing to call tenders for the landscape works. Plans approved by MBPJ.

The main building contractor, Luxbee Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. was given possession of site by CCM on 10th December 2010. Luxbee was unable to complete the project by 9th March 2012. It had applied for extension of time (EOT) to complete the project by 15th May 2012 with reasons and justifications for the delay. Our Architect and Consultants are processing its application.

The site is a hive of activity with numerous different tradesmen working side by side. We expect floor tiling and painting works to commence in late March or early April. The installation of the lift and water storage tanks are also imminent. The overall stage of completion of the project is estimated to be about 65% to 70%, and the contractor is trying hard to meet the revised completion date of mid-May.

CCM has targeted to move into the building by October 2012 with a soft launch on 23rd October. A dedication service is planned on 23rd April 2013.
