MCCBCHST Hari Raya Aidilfitri GreetingsBEST WISHES & PRAYERSWe in the Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism (MCCBCHST) congratulate Malaysian Muslims for the successful observance of Ramadhan. Together with their brethren throughout the world, Malaysian Muslims have completed a month of fasting from dawn to sunset during the month of Ramadhan. It was a month of deep resolve and self-control devoted to inner reflection and sanctity. As all Malaysians look forward to the festivities of Hari Raya Aidilfitri with family reunions and gatherings, we in MCCBCHST will be praying for safe travel, goodwill, reconciliation within families and between neighbours, and kindness towards the poor and less fortunate, the elderly and children. As is special here in Malaysia, we pray that all Malaysians will take this opportunity to visit with their Muslim neighbours, colleagues and friends. National unity can only be as strong as personal friendships and good neighbourliness. Through goodwill and mutual respect we Malaysians build a nation in harmony with its ethnic and religious plurality which ensures peaceful coexistence and a bright future for all young Malaysians. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri dan Maaf, Zahir & Batin. For MCCBCHST, Datuk A. Vaithilingam, |
